Return & Exchange Policy

While all purchases are considered final, we understand that issues may arise. In the rare case of a manufacturing defect that cannot be repaired, we offer returns or exchanges.

Customers may request a return or exchange within 48 hours of receiving their order.
Returns and exchanges are only applicable to non-custom, non-discounted items.
Customers must share an image of the packed product to initiate the return request.
All returns are subject to a quality inspection before approval.
Exchanges will only be processed after the returned product passes Quality Control & Check.
Customers may exchange for another product of equal or higher value (paying the difference). Exchanges for lower-value items will not be eligible for partial refunds.
The Knotted Stories provides free return shipping for exchanges/refunds within India.

Reporting a Manufacturing Defect
If you believe your carpet has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:
• Report Within 48 Hours
• Email us at ( will provide email id ) within 48 hours of delivery.
• Provide Essential Details
• Include the following in your email:
• Clear images highlighting the defect
• A detailed description of the issue
• Your order number
• Retain Original Packaging & Tags
To process your return or exchange smoothly, ensure that all original packaging and tags remain intact.

What Is Not Considered a Defect?
Handcrafted rugs have natural variations that enhance their uniqueness. The following are not considered defects:
Shedding
Fiber Sprouting
Creasing & Rolling Marks
Scent from Packaging

Color Variations
Slight differences in color may occur due to lighting and screen settings. While we strive for accuracy, an exact match to your display cannot be guaranteed.

Important Return Guidelines
All original tags and packaging must be intact for a return to be processed.
Timely reporting is crucial—delays may result in the request being declined.
The Knotted Stories reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet our policy guidelines.

Cancellation Policy
The knotted stories reserves the right to cancel any order after placement at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or non-compliance with company policies.
Once an order is processed and shipped, it cannot be canceled. 
Custom and made-to-order rugs cannot be canceled once the order is confirmed.

DISCLAIMER 
Once an order has been shipped, The Knotted Stories' responsibility for the product extends until it has been successfully delivered to the customer.
Upon delivery confirmation, The Knotted Stories assumes no further liability for loss, damage, or delays, except as required under applicable consumer protection laws.
The Knotted Stories reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges if a product is found to be used, soiled, altered, or damaged by the customer.
In cases of suspected fraudulent claims, The Knotted Stories may request additional proof before approving a return.
